These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Gronac, a product of Simple Hire AI, LLC ("Gronac," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website and our application at app.gronac.com. By creating an account or using Gronac, you agree to these Terms.

Overview

Gronac is an AI executive assistant that joins your video meetings — on Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams — to listen, take notes, ask questions, deliver updates, or host on your behalf, depending on the mode you choose. These Terms apply to anyone who creates an account or otherwise uses Gronac.

Accounts

You need an account to use Gronac. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at support@simplehireai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Using Gronac

When you send Gronac into a meeting, you're responsible for having the right to do so — including making sure you have permission to bring an AI participant into that meeting under your organization's policies and the meeting platform's terms. You're also responsible for the accuracy of anything you brief Gronac to say or ask on your behalf.

The AI avatar & disclosure

Gronac's avatar identifies itself as an AI assistant when it joins a meeting. You agree not to use Gronac to impersonate a real person without disclosure, mislead meeting participants about who or what they're speaking with, or otherwise use Gronac in a way that violates applicable law regarding AI disclosure, consent to recording, or wiretapping. You are responsible for complying with the recording and consent laws of your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of meeting participants.

Custom avatars: image & likeness rights

Gronac lets you create custom avatars, including from a photo. You may only create a custom avatar from a face, image, voice, or likeness that you have the right to use — that means either your own likeness, or the likeness of a person who has given you their explicit permission to use it for AI-generated meeting video. When you create a custom avatar you confirm to us that you hold those rights.

You must not create or use an avatar built from the image or likeness of a real person — public figure or private individual — without their consent. Doing so may infringe their rights of publicity, privacy, or other legal rights, and is a violation of these Terms. We may remove any avatar, and suspend or terminate any account, that we reasonably believe uses someone's image or likeness without permission, and you are responsible for any claims arising from your misuse of another person's likeness.

Billing & plans

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated) through our payment processor, Stripe. Plan limits (such as meeting minutes) reset each billing cycle. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings; changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless otherwise noted. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Gronac to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights
• Harass, defraud, or deceive any person
• Send Gronac into a meeting without the right or permission to do so
• Create or use a custom avatar from a real person's image or likeness without their explicit permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the underlying systems that power Gronac
• Use Gronac to generate or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide to Gronac — briefings, documents, agendas, and the meetings you send it into. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate Gronac on your behalf (joining meetings, generating debriefs, and similar functions), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability & changes

We work to keep Gronac available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Gronac at any time, and we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use of the product.

Disclaimers

Gronac is provided "as is" and "as available." While we aim for accuracy and reliability, Gronac is an AI system and may occasionally misunderstand context, mishear, or respond imperfectly in a live meeting. We make no warranty that Gronac's behavior in any specific meeting will be error-free, and you're responsible for reviewing debriefs and outputs before relying on them for important decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Hire AI, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Gronac, including damages resulting from anything said or done by the AI avatar during a meeting. Our total liability for any claim related to Gronac is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Gronac and close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your right to use Gronac ends immediately, though certain provisions of these Terms (such as limitation of liability) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Simple Hire AI, LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Gronac will be resolved in accordance with those laws.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use Gronac after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
